WHO WE ARE

We are a registered charity recognized by state and government of India. We have been working with blind and persons with visual impairment since 1968. During our illustrious history of more than five decades, we have been able to make a significant difference in the lives of thousands of persons suffering from vision impairment.

Currently, Rajasthan Netraheen Kalyan Sangh is running a residential school for the blind students up to 12th standard wherein, apart from education, lodging and boarding facilities are provided absolutely free of cost.

Augmentation of skills of persons with visual impairment has always been a priority for us and to meet this objective, we impart state of the art computer training to Blind adults and work hard to ensure that they get a suitable job at the earliest.

In addition to that, We have a large and only Braille press of its stature in the state of Rajasthan which prints almost 2.5 million braille pages per year. Our fortnightly publication reaches around 50000 readers in more than 17 states of the country and we take pride in the fact that this publication is also read in United Kingdom and Sri lanka.

We have plans to stablish a spacious school with all modern amenities in the out-skirts of Jaipur for which we are actively looking for support and help. It is noteworthy that our current premises has little scope for expansion and adding more amenities
